The campaign SUV of Mayor Joe Ganim (D-Bridgeport), an ex-convict hoping Connecticut voters will elect him to the top office in the state, was pulled over going 100 miles per hour.

The gubernatorial campaign of Mayor Joe Ganim (D-Bridgeport) could not be off to a more disastrous start.

The campaign SUV for the Bridgeport mayor, who spent years in prison for his corrupt actions in office, was pulled over going 100 miles per hour on the highway. How do we know this? Reporter Neil Vigdor had joined the campaign for its first day:

Vigdor tweeted a follow-up, writing that Ganim was not driving and that the SUV was not ticketed.

Ganim is one of several Democratic candidates for governor.
