Hillary Clinton to Visit 2 CT Towns on Book Tour, Including 1 She Lost

The failed presidential candidate is coming to Connecticut twice to sign copies of her new book, which promises to tell readers What Happened that led her to lose in 2016.

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is coming to Connecticut.

This time, though, it’s not for a political run or a six-figure fundraiser, but to sign copies of her new book, What Happened.

NBC Connecticut first reported on the news on Tuesday morning.

Indeed, the “Book Signings” section of hillaryclintonmemoir.com lists two Connecticut stops, on September 16 in Brookfield, Connecticut, at a Costco, and on October 21 in Middletown, Connecticut, on the campus of Wesleyan University.

Clinton won Middletown in 2016 over Donald Trump by a healthy margin – 64 percent to 36 percent.

Brookfield is a curious choice, though, given she lost Brookfield to Trump – 54 percent to 46 percent.

Overall, Clinton won Connecticut and its seven electoral votes.
