Lamont, Stefanowski to Debate for the First Time; Here’s How You Can Watch

WTNH is hosting the debate in New London, with The Day.

Republican gubernatorial nominee Bob Stefanowski and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Ned Lamont will meet for the first time to debate in New London, Connecticut on Wednesday night.

The debate begins at 7 p.m. ET, and will be streamed on WTNH.com and on MyTV9.

Stefanowski is hosting a pre-debate rally at The Garde Arts Center, Inc. in New London, at 4:30 p.m. ET. Details are here.

Expect Stefanowski to talk about his plan to roll back the income tax, and the record of Gov. Dan Malloy (D-Conn.). Expect Lamont to talk about his own plans to roll back middle-class property taxes and reform government. Lamont will also likely address Stefanowski’s support for President Trump.

The debate could be an important opportunity for Stefanowski and Lamont to debate the most pressing issues facing the state over the next four years; specifically, the billions of dollars in deficits facing the next governor.
