A New Malloy Approval Rating is Out, and It’s BadApril 11, 2017
Morning Consult released approval ratings for all 50 U.S. governors. Gov. Dan Malloy (D-Conn.) ranks near the bottom.
On Tuesday, Morning Consult released its April 2017 rankings of America’s 50 governors, by approval and disapproval ratings. The survey once again confirms that Gov. Dan Malloy (D-Conn.) is one of the least popular governors in the U.S.
Malloy has the third-highest disapproval rating in the country, at 66 percent, and is the least popular Democratic governor in the nation.
Malloy’s approval rating, a paltry 29 percent, is also the third-lowest in the nation.
The governor’s neighbor to the north, Gov. Charlie Baker (R-Mass.), has the highest approval rating in the country, at 75 percent.
Morning Consult surveyed 85,000 registered voters over three months “to determine the latest rankings.”
