Successful Petition Effort Makes Stefanowski 4th Republican on Gov BallotJune 19, 2018
Businessman Bob Stefanowski became the first candidate to successfully petition his or her way on to a gubernatorial primary ballot.
On Monday, businessman and Connecticut Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Stefanowski earned access on to the August primary ballot, completing the first successful petition effort for governor in the state’s history.

Stefanowski’s political director tweeted:

Another businessman and candidate, David Stemerman, appears on his way to also achieving ballot access.
Party-endorsed Mayor Mark Boughton (R-Danbury), former First Selectman Tim Herbst (R-Trumbull), and businessman Steve Obsitnik achieved August ballot access through the party convention in May.
