A winter storm is coming for Connecticut, and it’s a big one – even by New England standards.
As of 1pm on Monday, NBC Connecticut‘s meteorologists predicted “anywhere from 18 inches to two feet of snow in the northwestern hills, a foot to 18 inches in central and southwestern Connecticut and 8 to 12 inches in southeastern Connecticut..”
The Connecticut Department of Transporation (DOT) has “634 plow trucks and 250 private contract plow operators on standby to be called in if necessary. CTDOT is responsible for more than 10,000 lane miles of roads in Connecticut.”
Even President Trump, at his @POTUS handle, is tweeting about the storm:
